Several Districts Closed Thursday

Several school districts have already made the decision to cancel classes Thursday.

Major independent school districts, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Denton, Frisco, Keller, Lewisville and Plano closed Thursday.

Other closings include Aledo, Argyle, Aubrey, Azle, Blooming Grove, Bluff Dale, Boyd, Bridgeport, Brock, Bynum, Callisburg, Carroll, Celina, Chico, Covington, Crowley, Dawson, De Leon, Decatur, Dublin, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw, Gainesville, Graford, Granbury, Grapevine-Colleyville, Itasca, Krum, Lake Dallas, Lingleville, Lipan, Little Elm, Mansfield, Morgan Mill, Northwest, Paradise, Peaster, Perrin-Whitt, Pilot Point, Ponder, Poolville, Rio Vista, Santo, Savoy, Sherman, Slidell, Stephenville, Tioga and White Settlement independent school districts, as well as the University of North Texas and Texas Wesleyan.

Many churches also canceled Wednesday night worship services, NBCDFW showed more than 438 closings or delays as of 5:45 p.m.
