Police have made several arrests they say may be connected to a fatal carjacking that happened earlier this week.
Dallas police say two Latin males shot and killed a man while robbing him at 3330 Webb Chapel Extension. They took Oziel Garcia's property, including his red 2008 Chevrolet Silverado.
Police say they arrested several juveniles in the 7700 block of Ferguson Road on Thursday morning when they saw a truck that looked like the Chevy that was stolen from Garcia.
Garcia's mother said the vehicle that was towed from Ferguson Road belonged to her son.
Police have not said exactly how many people were arrested or what they were charged with. Police originally called this a capital murder investigation.
