Search for Missing Fisherman Resumes at Lake Ray Hubbard

Dallas Fire-Rescue teams Sunday suspended their involvement in a search for a fisherman reported missing in Lake Ray Hubbard last week.

Authorities say 50-year-old Mark Jordan hasn't been seen since he went fishing in the lake east of Dallas on Wednesday evening. [[416358104,C]]

Texas Game Wardens and others canvassed the 22,000-acre lake Sunday, but with enough resources present to conduct the search DFR opted to redirect their staff toward other efforts.

Jason Evans, spokesman for Dallas Fire-Rescue, said DFR resources remain available to aid in the search if needed.

Meanwhile, search teams returned to the lake Monday to continue looking for Jordan.

Jordan's capsized boat was found about a half-mile south of the Texas Highway 66 Bridge and his pickup and trailer were found at the boat ramp.

Last week, Evans said family members told him Jordan typically fished in a certain area and never stayed on the water too long.
