Myles Garrett probably doesn't need an introduction to North Texas football fans. The 5-star Arlington Martin High School product was a the nation's top edge defender and second overall recruit in 2014. He opted to attend Texas A&M and lived up to the hype.

Garrett broke Jadeveon Clowney's SEC freshman sack record with 11.5 and added 14 TFL and 10 QB hurries. He then led the SEC with 12 sacks as a sophomore and added 18.5 TFL and 5 forced fumbles. His production dipped a bit as a junior when he missed two games and was limited in several others due to injury, but he still ended up being named an All-America defender for the second year.

Verdict: First Round

Behold, the best defensive prospect to enter the draft in the last five years and the best edge prospect I can remember. He literally has every quality you could want for the position and the cons are just nitpicking. He's an athletic freak who can beat offensive linemen in a number of ways and the best player in the 2017 draft.

Look, barring something crazy, the Cowboys won't have a chance to draft Garrett. I would never advocate trading an entire draft for one pick, #MikeDitka, but Garrett would make so much sense in Dallas. He's a hometown guy and an elite prospect at the team's greatest position of need.
