KERA reports Robert 'Bob' Wilson, who led the station in its early years, died Friday after a years-long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was 75.
Wilson was the patriarch of a famous family. His sons Owen, Luke and Andrew are all notable actors. His wife Laura Wilson is known for her photographs in publications such as The New York Times and Vanity Fair.
Wilson was placed in charge of the Dallas public television staton KERA from 1967-1975.
