Lockdown Lifted at Richland High After Nearby Road Rage Incident: Police

Richland High was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning after a road rage incident near the school in North Richland Hills, police said. The lockdown has since been lifted.

North Richland Hill police say a person allegedly waved a gun at someone and turned into a school parking lot. The person was located off of school property and was cooperating with officers, police said.

Students and staff were safe, police said. Officers were conducting a security check before releasing the school from the lockdown.
