Several media sources, ranging from ESPN to The Dallas Morning News to Sports Illustrated are reporting that free agent outfielder and Texas Rangers' fan favorite Nelson Cruz has agreed to a deal in Baltimore.
The one-year deal is reportedly worth $8 million. But it all depends on whether he passes a physical.
Cruz declined the Rangers $14.1 million qualifying offer in November.
