A 15-year-old attempted robbery suspect fatally shot in an exchange of gunfire with East Texas police had marijuana in his system.
Autopsy results released Tuesday also show Justin Aguilar was shot five times by Longview police officers.
Police said the teen tried to rob a convenience store March 9 when he was confronted minutes later by officers. Investigators said Aguilar opened fire, shattering a window on a patrol car, before police returned fire.
The autopsy determined the Longview teen died as a results of gunshot wounds.
Officers involved in the shooting were put on administrative leave. Gregg County grand jurors are expected to consider the case next month.
