Razzle Dazzle Dallas Raises Money for Local Charities

Cedar Springs street festival kicks off June 6

Beginning Wednesday, the Razzle Dazzle festival will come to life for four days of good times for good causes.

The celebration kicks off on Cedar Springs at 6 p.m. with a wine walk and dog walk. Participating business along the street will offer discounts and wine to shoppers who purchase a $10 wine glass from vendor tents located on the street.

On Thursday, Jägermeister will present the Razzle Dazzle Pub Crawl with shuttle service from Hunky’s (on Cedar Springs) to Dallas-area nightclubs.

The premier event is the 7th annual MetroBall at Station 4 on Friday, featuring dance vocalist Taylor Dayne. MetroBall will include a silent auction as well as a night of music and dancing. Tickets may be purchased for $30 at the door starting at 7 p.m. Proceeds will benefit The Greg Dollgener Memorial AIDS Fund.

The following afternoon, Cedar Springs Merchant Association presents a daytime Sidewalk Sale, Street Fair, Antique Car Show, Spectrum Motorcycle Show and LifeWalk’s Waterpalooza. The street will be alive with tents, food and beer booths, pet adoptions, carnival games, and fun activities for people of all ages!

Saturday night is when things get crazy. Cedar Springs will be blocked off to make room for a dance party with two stages featuring DJs and live ‘80s music.
