The Texas Rangers are going with seven relief pitchers for the AL Division Series and a roster that has several changes from last year's series against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Texas released its 25-man roster on Thursday hours before Game 1, including 13 players who weren't on the roster last postseason.
Reliever Jeremy Jeffress โ reinstated to the team in September after an Aug. 26 arrest for DWI โ was included on the roster.
Left-handed starter Derek Holland and outfielder Delino DeShields were the notable players from this season's 40-man roster left off the playoff roster.
