Authorities in Longview in East Texas say they have no information on possible suspects in the slaying of a prominent Longview businessman.
Gregg County officials say 54-year-old Ron Horaney was fatally shot Monday evening at his home.
He and his mother owned Horaney's Feed Stores in downtown Longview and in Marshall. The Longview News-Journal describes the store, founded in 1940, as one of Longview's longest continually operated businesses.
A neighbor says he heard three gunshots from the home.
The Gregg County sheriff and Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating.
