A man is in custody following an officer-involved shooting in Dallas.[[330170991,C]]
Police responded to a call of a person threatening to harm himself at a home in the 4200 block of Wiley College Drive just after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Police attempted to negotiate with the man as he walked in and out of the residence with a gun, officers said.
After approximately 45 minutes of negotiating, an officer discharged their weapon, but did not hit the man, according to Dallas police.
The man was then taken into custody. He has not been identified.
No officers were injured.
