Police are investigating after what are believed to be human remains were found in Fort Worth.[[372142702,C]]
A construction crew working in the 100 block of North Lexington Street, near West Weatherford Street, made the discovery Tuesday afternoon, according to Cpl. Tracy Knight with the Fort Worth Police Department.
Knight said the FWPD Homicide Unit, along with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's forensic anthropologist, are currently at the scene.
If the remains are found to be human, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
