An Austin woman's political canvas is right outside her front door.
Shannon Bennett was upset because traditional signs she put in her yard supporting Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama were swiped.
So Bennett used about one dozen cans of spray paint to turn her front yard into a more earthy symbol of alliance with Obama.
She spray painted a huge red, white and blue symbol, similar to one Obama's known for, onto the grass.
Bennett told KXAN-TV on Tuesday that she just wanted to be able to say who she supports for president "without being censored."
Her makeshift on-the-yard sign has been in place for about one week.
