Police said they evacuated and searched a Mansfield Sam's Club for a possibly armed person who fled from officers early Wednesday morning.
Mansfield police said they and Arlington police responded to a call about a fight at a home near the Arlington-Mansfield border just before 2 a.m.
While on the way, police said they were told one of the people involved had driven away and was possibly armed. Officers saw the vehicle that reportedly left the scene of the fight and tried to stop the driver.
Police said the driver sped away and they followed the vehicle to the Sam's Club in the 1700 block of Farm-to-Market Road 157, where the driver ran inside.
Officers evacuated employees and searched for the man inside. Police said they were unable to find the person.
