Police Search for Gunman in Deadly Saturday Shooting

A physical altercation escalated into gunfire outside of a Dallas restaurant early Saturday morning

One man has died from injuries sustained after an argument escalated to gunfire in Dallas early Saturday morning, police say.

Dallas police said David Lowe, 30, died at an area hospital, which he was transported to after officers found him lying on the sidewalk with "multiple gunshot wounds" in the 3900 block of Rosemeade Parkway just before 2 a.m. Saturday.

Officers are still searching for the gunman.

According to police, Lowe and the gunman got into a physical altercation for an unknown reason. Lowe was asked to leave, and walked to a nearby restaurant.

Soon after, the gunman confronted Lowe outside of the restaurant, shot him multiple times and fled the scene.
