Missing Toddler, Father Located

Federal Charges Pending

Police said a 2-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted by her father in Farmersville was located Thursday night after an Amber Alert was issued.

Investigators said Marcilne β€œMarc” Joseph Ellison, 31, took his daughter Presley on Wednesday, and told her mother that he was taking the child away to another state and that she would never see her again.

Police said Ellison was apprehended at a Hunt County home he was renting in Greenville, about 10 miles outside Farmersville, and taken into custody at about 8:30 p.m.

Presley was reunited with her mother at the Farmersville police station, investigators said.

Ellison will be booked into the Collin County Jail on a charge of interfering with child custody, according to police.

A security sweep of the home revealed Ellison was in possession of several firearms including assault rifles, authorities said.

A search warrant was obtained and executed by U.S. Marshals, state troopers and agents with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms. Agents seized seven firearms, including a short barrel shotgun, and an undetermined amount of marijuana. Federal weapons violation charges are pending in the case.
