Police Investigating Body Found in Grand Prairie

Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday afternoon in Grand Prairie.[[375796681,C]]

Officers responded to the 2300 block of Hardy Road after receiving calls about a shooting in the area just before 1:30 p.m.

When police arrived, they found a man who was unresponsive.

The victim, identified as Jepatrick Morgan-Wright, was transported to Dallas Methodist Medical Center where he later died. The medical examiner's office has not released the official cause of death.

Officers are speaking with witnesses and seeking more information pertaining to the shooter’s identity.
