Garland police are asking for the public's help finding a man they say killed a woman whose body was found inside her apartment New Year's Day.
Linda Lee Harris' body was found during a welfare check at her apartment on the 19000 block of West Kingsley Road, police said.
Police believe she was murdered and have identified 39-year-old Rodney Collins Smith as a suspect.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Smith.
Police are asking people to call 911 if they have any information about the case. A reward of up to $5,000 is also being offered by Garland Crime Stoppers.
