Investigators have identified a woman found murdered in a Dallas apartment Wednesday afternoon.
According to a police report, officers found the body of Georgia Scruggs, 58, after a welfare check inside an apartment in the 9944 block of Walnut Street.
Officers were called to the apartment after Scruggs' coworkers became concerned about her missing work. Investigators determined Scruggs died as a result of homicidal violence, the report said.
Police did not immediately identify potential suspects in the incident.
