Plano Props, ISD Trustees, City Council Election Results

Election Results: See All Races Here

Plano voters are considered four City Council seats and four seats on the school board as well as three propositions.

The results of those races are below.

City Council

Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Angela Miner announced last year she was not seeking reelection in 2019. Maria Tu won the election to replace Miner with 55 percent of the vote against Daniel Long and Bill Lisle.

Incumbent Rick Grady was elected to a second term in Place 3 with 54 percent of the vote.

Mayor Pro Tem Ron Kelly will head to a runoff with Shelby Williams for Place 5. Tom Harrison, who fought of calls to resign in 2018 is not seeking reelection in Place 7. Lily Bao and Ann Bacchus now head to a runoff for his seat.

ISD Trustees

Heather Wang has been elected to the Board of Trustees, Place 4 with 53 percent of the vote.

David Stolle has been elected to the Board of Trustees, Place 5 with 64 percent of the vote. 

Jeri Chambers has been elected to the Board of Trustees, Place 6 with 74 percent of the vote.

Cody Weaver has been elected for the Board of Trustees, Place 7 with 49% of the vote.

Propositions

Prop A- The issuance of $18,750,000 general obligation bonds for street improvements and the levy of a tax in payment thereof passed with 71 percent of the vote.

Prop B - The issuance of $17,890,000 general obligation bonds for park and recreational facilities and the levy of a tax in payment thereof passed with 63 percent of the vote.

Prop C - The issuance of $8,025,000 general obligation bonds for renovations and improvements to existing municipal facilities and the levy of a tax in payment thereof passed with 56 percent of the vote.
