Plano Police Search for White Pickup Involved in Fatal Hit-and-Run

Police in Plano are asking for the public's help finding the driver and vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run last week.

On the night of Aug. 10, 21-year-old Braxton Brock was driving his motorcycle westbound on East Plano Parkway when he collided with a white pickup truck that had pulled out in front of him, police said.

Investigators believed the pickup truck was turning left onto F Avenue and failed to yield to the motorcycle. Brock wasn't able to avoid the truck, and was ejected from his motorcycle on impact.

At about 9:15 p.m., officers arrived to find Brock lying in the road with serious injuries. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but died two days later, police said.

The driver of the pickup truck left the scene of the crash before officers could arrive.

Investigators said there should be damage in the area around the passenger's side of the vehicle, from front to back.

Anyone with information that can help investigators is asked to call Plano police at 972-941-2445.

Police added that the investigation remains ongoing.
