Plano ISD Enrollment Expected to Drop Again as Home Prices Rise

This year, the district’s student population fell by 504 compared to the previous school year

Student enrollment in the Plano school district is expected to continue to decline over the next several years.

The 52,646-student district could see its enrollment drop to 50,359 students by the 2024-25 school year, Rocky Gardiner, a consultant with Templeton Demographics, told the Plano school board during a recent work session.
