A Plano firefighter is being hailed as a hero after having saved twin 9-month-old babies from a burning house on Thursday.
The children's mother escaped the burning house with another child, but told firefighters her 9-month-old twins were still inside.
That's when Plano Fire-Rescue's Randy Wood leaped into action, heading into the home and rescuing twins Melody and Malik.
Plano fire crews said Wood found the children in a back bedroom where smoke was banking down from the ceiling.
The department shared a photo (seen above) of Wood holding the twins on the PFR Facebook page.
