Man Shot Following Argument at South Dallas Grocery Store

Dallas police say a 45-year-old man was shot in front of a South Dallas grocery store Friday afternoon. [[485707311,R]]

The shooting occurred at about 4:15 p.m. in front of the Friendly Food Store at 2200 Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Dallas police. 

Before the shooting, the victim was seen arguing with another man inside a car. The two got out of the car and started fighting. 

One of the men then pulled out a gun and shot the other. 

The victim was transported to the hospital and underwent surgery. His condition was not immediately known.

Police took the shooter into custody following a foot pursuit.
