A pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver in Dallas late Saturday night, police say.
According to police, the driver of a 2005 Audi A6 was heading south in the 1100 block of South Buckner Boulevard in the left lane.
The driver told police he was driving at the posted speed limit at the time, but couldn't swerve left or right and by the time he hit the brakes, he collided with the pedestrian, police said.

The driver immediately stopped to call 911. Paramedics took the pedestrian to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas where he was pronounced dead.
