A person was injured after they were struck by a vehicle Sunday night in Dallas, police said.
Officers responded at about 11:55 p.m. to the 2700 block of Howell Street.
Police say the driver of the vehicle told officers that they were fleeing from gunfire when they hit the person. The back window of the vehicle was reportedly damaged.
The pedestrian sustained a laceration to the leg.
No other information was available.
