The strong cold front that brought thunderstorms to North Texas Thursday and Friday also ushered in the coolest air of the season.
Temperatures early Saturday morning fell into the 30s and 40s. Some places were at or below freezing.
After a cold and frosty start in places, Saturday will be comfortable with highs in the upper 60s. Sunday will be warmer with highs in the 70s.
Clouds and warmer temperatures return on Sunday with highs in the 70s. There's a low chance for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly east of DFW during the morning. Most will stay dry.
Temperatures early next week will reach the low 80s.
