Park Service Identifies Texas Woman Killed In Yellowstone

The National Park Service has released the name of the Texas woman who died last week in Yellowstone National Park when she was hit by a vehicle.

The agency identified the woman as 47-year-old Wendy Larrabee.

Larrabee was struck and killed on the West Entrance Road, about 2 miles inside the park, shortly before 8 a.m. on May 18.

The Park Service says Larrabee was traveling with friends and apparently was crossing the road to look at an eagle when she was hit by a vehicle coming out of the park.

The Park Service did not provide Larrabee's hometown in Texas.
