Power Restored at Woodrow Wilson HS in Dallas

The district said classes would continue as regularly scheduled Monday morning.

A collision between a transformer and a semi-truck knocked out the electricity for Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas Sunday afternoon.

Dallas ISD spokesperson Robyn Harris told NBCDFW that the collision cut off electricity to the Wilson campus at 100 South Glasgow Drive.

Crews worked through the night to restore power. Crews were seen wrapping up their work at about 1:30 a.m.

The district said classes at both Woodrow Wilson High School and neighboring J.L. Long Middle School would continue as normal Monday morning.

No one was reported injured and the damage occurred only to the transformer, not any school property.
