Dallas police say a person was shot multiple times in Dallas apartment complex parking lot early Sunday morning.
According to police, the victim and an unknown number of others were walking through the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 3200 block of Bonnie View Road when they were confronted by an armed person or persons.
Before the shooting began, one of the victims was accused of breaking into cars. A short time later, someone opened fire and shot the victim multiple times, police said.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
The shooting is still under investigation by the Dallas Police Department and details may change as more information is learned.
