Authorities said one person is dead after a crash involving a semi on Beach Street in Fort Worth Monday morning. [[399290931,C]]
MedStar officials said the semi and a Jeep Grand Cherokee collided in the 1000 block of Beach Street just north of Interstate 30 at about 1 a.m.
One person in the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
As of 7 a.m., Beach Street remained blocked in both directions. Police said they expect to reopen the street at about 8 a.m.
No further details have been released.
