Authorities said they arrested one person after a chase in Dallas County Friday morning.
Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Lonny Haschel said a trooper tried to stop an SUV for a traffic violation on the Dallas North Tollway near Frankford Road just before 5 a.m.
The pursuit began when the driver chose not to stop. Haschel said the driver led troopers south on the Tollway to eastbound Interstate 30.
Authorities said the chase pursuit ended when the driver exited I-30 at North Galloway Avenue in Mesquite.
The driver was taken into custody without incident at about 5:20 a.m., according to Haschel. The driver will be charged with evading arrest.
No injuries or property damage was reported.
