One man is dead and two others are wounded after an armed robbery ends in gunfire.
The shooting took place outside an apparent drug house in the 2100 block of Custer Drive in Oakcliff, police said.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner identified the deceased as 18-year-old Russell Hardaway. The other two victims, who are in their late teens and early 20's, are listed in critical condition.
Dallas police responded to the call at 11:35 p.m. Thursday. Investigators said the three victims were standing outside the house on Custer when a gunman came up and tried to rob them.
According to police, someone opened fire and the three men were shot while trying to run away. Detectives said one man collapsed in the front yard, the other two were found around the corner at a house in the 4100 block of Gladewater.
Paramedics took two of the victims to Methodist Dallas Hospital, where Hardaway later died. The other was taken to Baylor Medical Center.
