Farmers Branch police are searching for two men after a fight at a Farmers Branch apartment complex turned deadly.
Police were called to the Ventana at Valwood Aparments after a fight broke out during a birthday party.
Farmers Branch police say Juan Ortiz and his brother Benito Ortiz confronted two Hispanic men and two Hispanic women. During the confrontation, police say Benito Ortiz pulled a knife and stabbed all four people.
Three of the victims were taken to Parkland Hospital for treatment. Two underwent surgery and are recovering. A 28-year-old woman died during surgery and a fourth victim was moved to RHD Memorial Center where he was treated and released.
Farmers Branch police issued a murder warrant for Benito Ortiz and another warrant for Juan Ortiz. The brothers were last seen leaving the apartment complex in a maroon 1999 Chevrolet Suburban with Texas license plate Y30-TXV.
