Two Dead, One Injured in South Dallas Shooting: Police

An 18-year-old man is wanted in connection with the deadly shooting

Dallas police are searching for an 18-year-old suspect in a triple-shooting that killed two people Friday afternoon and left a third seriously injured.[[502358501,R]]

Police said Monday morning they'd issued a capital murder warrant for 18-year-old Lexington Malik Wright, who was last seen running toward Santa Rosa Drive immediately after the shooting.

According to investigators, three people were inside a parked car in the 2700 block of Palo Alto Drive Friday when someone approached and started shooting inside the vehicle, hitting all three people, police said.

Police said two of the victims died and the third, who police have said is 16 years old, underwent surgery and is recovering.

The names of the victims have not been released and a motive for the shooting has not been confirmed.
