One Dead in Fiery Dallas Crash

One person is dead after a fiery crash south of Downtown Dallas.

It happened just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday under the railroad bridge in the 500 block of Corinth Street.

Police said the driver was going too fast, lost control and slammed into the bridge.

The vehicle caught fire with the driver trapped inside. Police said the body was so badly burned they could not tell if it was a man or a woman.

The investigation continues.
