Old Chicago Pizza & Tap Room in North Fort Worth provides a new spot for late-night workers (or late-night cravings), offering a menu full of variety and an array of beers on tap.
The new-to-the-area restaurant is, of course, open for lunch and dinner, but they are one of a few spots in the booming area offering a complete menu to customers until 2 a.m. every day (the kitchen closes at 1 a.m. but the restaurant doesn't close until 2 a.m.).
Their pizza is loaded with toppings and served with two crust options: Chicago Thick (made with a cornmeal crust) or Ale (made with flour and a hint of brown ale).

Their menu also offers a variety of sandwiches, salads and appetizers but just a heads up for Chicago-style pizza lovers - even though it’s got Chicago in the name they do not offer pizza in the traditional Chicago-style crust.
Ironically, the original owners decided on the restaurant name from a pinball game machine. Even so, the “Chicago Thick” crust offered at this new restaurant is definitely worth considering a new take on the Chicago traditional.
