Officer Involved in Wreck: Fort Worth Police

Fort Worth police said an officer was involved in a wreck in the intersection of Hemphill Street and West Seminary Drive Thursday afternoon.

Police blocked the intersection while they removed the police cruiser from the road.

MedStar officials said they transported one person to John Peter Smith Hospital with minor injuries.

Medical personnel treated and released two other people at the scene.

Officials confirmed to NBC 5 that the officer was en route to assist the Fort Worth Police Department Fugitive Unit in locating Pedro Ramos, who is wanted for murder.
