North Texas WR Arrested for Hit-and-Run Crash: Police

A University of North Texas football player involved an alleged hit-and-run crash has turned himself in, a police spokesperson confirmed Friday.

North Texas wide receiver Darvin Kidsy was suspected of driving into two pedestrians on South Carroll Boulevard at West Sycamore Street on Dec. 5, according to Orlando Hinojosa, City of Denton spokesman.

The crash left Bobby Kim, 23,  in critical condition and Zachary Adams, 18, hurt, according to a police affidavit.

β€œThe athletic department has been made aware of the arrest of a member of the North Texas football team, although the information available to us is limited,” UNT athletic director Rick Villarreal said in a written statement to The Denton Record Chronicle.
