National Signing Day 2017 will be a big day in North Texas as thousands of high school athlete are set to sign National Letters of Intent Wednesday.
Nearly 40 students sign letters of intent at the district's Athletic Activity Center, including:

• Dylan Ditzenberger, baseball, Kansas
• Ashton Esparza, softball, Wichita State
• Haley Jackson, soccer, SMU
• Mitchell Jonke, football, Brown
• Nico Manzonelli, wrestling, U.S. Military Academy (West Point)
• Cole Maxwell, football, Baylor
• Amber Park, golf, Texas A&M
• Will Sherman, football, Colorado
• Astrid Soto, soccer, TCU
• Ronnie Taylor, baseball, Wichita State

•Frisco Lone Star High School defensive lineman and outside linebacker Rodnick Phillips let the emotion pour out during the school's signing day ceremony Wednesday. The senior shed tears of joy after signing with Butte Junior College in California.
