As a strong line of spring storms pushed through the Metroplex Friday afternoon, The National Weather Service issued several severe weather watches and alerts for much of North Texas.
The NWS issued a Flash Flood Warning for Delta, Fannin, Hunt counties until 7:45 p.m.
The NWS has also issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the following counties until 7 p.m.: Collin, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hopkins, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Parker, Rains, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, Van Zandt.
NBC 5 received reports of up to golf ball-sized hail as the storms passed.

NBC 5 meteorologists forecasted strong to severe storms were possible Friday afternoon with the primary threats being large hail and damaging winds.
East of the Metroplex, the storms will continue until around 9 p.m., meteorologist Lindsay Riley said in her forecast.
This weekend, Chief Meteorologist David Finfrock expects a gorgeous weekend with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s both Saturday and Sunday.
