An Addison museum on Saturday honored Vietnam veterans who served with a Navy helicopter squadron.
The Cavanaugh Flight Museum hosted the event, which celebrated the surviving members of the HAL-3 Seawolves, a Navy helicopter squadron.
Museum spokesman Doug James said he hoped families would get an idea of what the veterans went through and learn "what Dad or Grandpa did during the war and get a little bit of appreciation of what's going with now with today's events with Iraq and Afghanistan."
Dozens of people took aircraft rides, talked to squadron members and toured a Caribou cargo plane.

The museum also showed a documentary film about the veterans on Saturday night.
