Police said they arrested a 60-year-old man who told officers he killed a woman found dead inside a Garland house Tuesday afternoon. [[393330071,C]]
Garland police said they responded to a call about a body at the home in the 900 block of Meadowdale Circle at about 4:30 p.m. When officers arrived, the man — later identified as Ryan Howell — confessed to the killing.
Officers took Howell into custody and went into the home, where they found the woman dead, according to police.
Detectives said they think Howell fatally stabbed the victim Sunday.
Authorities said Howell, another man — 55-year-old Jerry McGee — and the victim all lived at the home. Investigators are trying to determine if McGee was involved in the killing.
The victim's identity has not yet been released.
Police said Howell is being charged with Murder.
