Multiple vehicles were involved in four crashes along southbound U.S. 75 at Legacy Drive in Plano Wednesday morning.
Allen police said two crashes involving four cars started a chain of events that led to two additional crashes involving a dozen other vehicles.
Two people were hospitalized after the crash with injuries that were not life threatening.
After two lanes were closed during the clean-up, the roadway was reopened to traffic at about 9 a.m.
