Most Dangerous Intersections Mapped Out

A new study has ranked the most dangerous intersections in Texas and North Texas has its fair share.

And they've compiled it into a single map.

Attorney Brian White worked with a data visualization company to sift through two million records and compiled the data into a single map.

The data included the number of crashes, injuries, and deaths.

On the map, the bigger the circle the more dangerous the intersection.

Houston and San Antonio have some major areas of concern.

Zooming into North Texas, the intersection at Henderson and Weatherford Streets is the most dangerous in Fort Worth with 119 crashes over three years.

In Denton, Carroll Boulevard and University Drive is the major problem spot.

In Plano, Dallas Parkway and Legacy Drive is the biggest area of concern.

In Richardson the map shows Sherman Street and Spring Valley Road is the most dangerous.

In Dallas, there are several big circles, signaling more than 100 wrecks over three years.

Including Belt Line Road and Dallas Parkway, and the most dangerous intersection in North Texas is at Lyndon B Johnson Freeway and Skillman Street.

That intersection has seen more than 130 wrecks, and more than 100 injuries in three years.
