Missing Woman's Children Ask for Answers

Fort Worth woman disappeared midnight Tuesday

The children of a Fort Worth woman who disappeared early Tuesday morning are praying for her return.

Angela Renee Yancey, 46, was last seen shortly after midnight in the 8900 block of Randol Mill Road, where her apartment complex is.

"Somebody's got her," said her son, Jarron Yancey Jr. "I think somebody has her. ... I don't think they're going to bring her back, but I want to see her again."

"My mom is just so sweet, and she's a hard working woman," said her daughter, Jamila Yancey. "She always put her family first, and that's what people respected about her."

Angela Yancey works at a Whataburger off Eastchase Parkway and Interstate 30. She usually walks to and from work but got a ride the night she disappeared.

Her children found her purse and belongings on the welcome mat outside their front door.

"She would never do nothing like that," Jamila said. "She would always have her purse on her."

Jamila and her brother said they just want their mother to come home.

"Just please, please, I'm begging to bring her back home," she said.

"Just bring her back," Jarron said. "We miss her. We love her. That's our mom, that's not your property. She belongs with us. we're her family."

Fort Worth police released a photograph Thursday of a man who may know her location.

NBC 5's Chris Van Horne and Randy McIlwain and NBCDFW editor Frank Heinz contributed to this report.
