A 9-year-old boy reported missing Tuesday has been found OK, the family says.
Oscar Briceno was last seen about 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of W. 12th Street in Dallas.
Authorities issued the alert for the child saying he may be a danger to himself; his family said he requires medication.
The family told NBC 5 Wednesday afternoon that he had been found at a friend's house and that he left home to go play at a nearby park.
He apparently spent the night at that friend's home after saying he'd been kicked out of his own home, which his family said is not the case.
