The death of a soldier from Euless is under investigation by the military.
Pvt. Sean P. McCune, 20, of Euless, died Jan. 11 in Samarra, Iraq. The Department of Defense said McCune died of injuries sustained from a non-combat related incident.
McCune was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
