Police said a Mesquite teacher's aide has confessed to sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy during the last few months.
Mesquite police arrested 26-year-old Jessica-Jewel Corin Benton, a teacher's aid at Tisinger Elementary school in the Mesquite Independent School District Thursday morning.
Officers said Benton assaulted the boy at a private residence last Friday and confessed to many other sexual encounters with him.
Benton could face a charge of aggravated sexual assault, a first degree felony.
Police said the victim does not attend Tisinger Elementary School.
Officers do not believe there are any other victims.
